Spring 2026 ceremony to be held May 9 at Crisp Arena, featuring address by President Emeritus Walter Butler

McKenzie, Tenn. — Bethel University will honor 244 graduates during its Spring Commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 9, at the Rosemary & Harry L. Crisp II Arena. The program is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. President Perry Moulds will preside over the ceremony.
The ceremony celebrates graduates from the College of Arts & Sciences, the College of Professional Studies, and the College of Health Sciences, represented by 49 associate degrees, 143 bachelor’s degrees, and 52 master’s degrees.
Walter Butler, President Emeritus of Bethel University, will deliver the Commencement address. Butler served as Bethel’s president until his retirement in late 2023 and brings decades of public service to the podium, including 16 years as Carroll County Trustee and service as Carroll County Mayor.
Families and friends unable to attend in person are encouraged to watch the ceremony via the university’s digital livestream.
