McKenzie, TN, Feb. 28, 2020 — Bethel University Vice President Dr. Kimberly Martin announced the College of Professional Studies' first Dean's List. The Dean's List recognizes students who achieved outstanding academic excellence in the term ending January 31, 2020.

Martin commented, "This is a momentous occasion for us in the College of Professional Studies because it marks the first time we've issued a Dean's List. We're excited to formally recognize the success of our nontraditional students and to let others know that these students have excelled academically at Bethel University."

To qualify for the Dean's List, undergraduate students must have completed a minimum of 12 graded credit hours and earned a GPA of 3.70 or higher in the term ending January 31, 2020. See page 31 of the 2019-20 Academic Catalog for more information.

"We are so proud of these students and their academic achievement. Our students in the College of Professional Studies are adult learners, and we realize it is no small feat for them to be enrolled full time and to excel in their coursework while also balancing work, families, and other responsibilities. We commend all the students who made the Dean's List for this great accomplishment," Martin stated.

The College of Professional Studies is home to all of Bethel University's adult degree programs and offers online certificates and associate, bachelor, and master's degrees in a variety of fields including criminal justice, organizational leadership, fire science, healthcare management, and more.
