We believe an effective educator is a reflective servant leader, who has the necessary knowledge and skills to teach others successfully. In addition, we believe Bethel teacher education candidates are called to teach, called to serve, and called to lead.

Mission

The mission of the Division of Education is to uphold the mission of the University and to prepare candidates for careers in public education. Our program is designed to instill a love of lifelong learning and service through teaching others. Bethel University’s mission is to create opportunities for members of the learning community to develop in a Christian environment to their highest intellectual, spiritual, and social potential. This includes synchronous and asynchronous modes of education.
