Official College and Trade School Transcripts
Request that official transcripts from every college, university, and trade school you have attended be sent directly to the Office of Admissions. For a transcript to be official, it may not be marked “Issued to Student.” Bethel accepts official transcripts by mail, email from the school, Parchment, or Clearinghouse.

Official High School Transcripts
Applicants who have not attended college, or who have earned fewer than 24 semester hours of college credit or have less than five years of professional experience must also submit an official high school transcript. A special education diploma or high school certificate is not acceptable.

LPN to BSN Admission Requirements
To be considered for the LPN to BSN program, applicants need:
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 as calculated by Bethel University, excluding developmental coursework.
- A minimum cumulative Trade School GPA of 2.75
- A Minimum score of 850 on the HESI Exit Assessment, minimum predicted passing probability of 92% on the ATI Comprehensive Predictor PN or Proficient TEAS score
- An unencumbered LPN license
- General education courses and the five nursing science prerequisites completed or in progress: Anatomy and Physiology I and II with labs, Microbiology with lab, General Chemistry with lab, and Introduction to Statistics. At least four of the five must be completed before the application deadline.
Applicants who already hold a bachelor’s degree are exempt from the general education requirements by virtue of that degree, but still complete the five science prerequisites, with at least four finished before the deadline.
Please note that grades below a C, D-plus, D, or F, count as unsuccessful attempts. Applicants with more than two unsuccessful attempts at the required math and science prerequisites are not eligible for admission to the Department of Nursing.
Transfer Credit
All coursework transferred to Bethel University is evaluated course by course. Transfer students must complete every degree requirement in the catalog in force when they enroll, or a later edition, along with any Bethel core requirements not met by transferred equivalents. No grade below a C, or its equivalent, will be accepted as transfer credit.
Transfer students are responsible for confirming that courses taken at other institutions are equivalent to Bethel general education courses. For help with transfer equivalency, contact your admissions counselor.
