Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund

Bethel University has been awarded $4,023,579 in funding under the American Rescue Plan (ARP), commonly referred to as HEERF III (Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund), that will be allocated directly to students. Funding may now be requested by completing this application and submitting it via email to HEERF@bethelu.edu. Applications will be reviewed once per week. Students will be notified via Bethel-issued email addresses. Funding will be disbursed via Federal and institutional guidelines.

Per the U.S. Department of Education, funds may be used in the following manner:
Emergency financial aid grants may be used by students for any component of their cost of attendance or for emergency costs that arise due to coronavirus, such as tuition, food, housing, health care (including mental health care) or child care. Students determine how they may use their emergency financial aid grant within the allowable uses.

* Through December 31, 2021, $54,028.42 has been awarded in funding directly to students.
