Faculty as a Medical Provider Policy

Policy:

Under ARC-PA Standard A3.06 faculty should not participate as health care providers for students.

If an occasion arises in which a student has an emergency condition and visits the emergency department where a PA Program faculty member is the sole provider, then the emergency condition will be attended to, and privacy will be maintained. Any breach of this policy may result in the release of the faculty from the PA Program.
